The Machu Picchu Experience
The Briefing
We will have a briefing before starting any of our experiences. We will give you detailed information about the trip itinerary, necessary equipment, altitude, weather conditions, etc. Inquiries and doubts will be answered, We just want you to understand and be confident of the whole tour itinerary.
The Altitude
Once you arrive in Cusco the best is to rest a couple of days take things easily prior to any tour departure. Altitude sickness gives you a headache, stomachache, hands tingling, etc. There is some medication you can take to prevent altitude sickness, for instance 'acetazolamide' besides it is helpful to have a coca tea; and hot drinks to not get dehydrated. In case you get bad altitude sickness, you must ask for medical help.
