    DAY 1 : Cusco – Tinki

    Our Ausangate Trek adventure will start outside Cusco in our way by bus to Tinki. During the trip to Tinki we will stop time to time to get some pictures specially from the colorful market of Urcos as well as from agriculture village of Cattca where its valley views will captive us. The bus trip will take us 6 hours to complete and before getting to our final destination we will pass by Ocongate which half hour from Tinki village. At our arrival to Tinki we will be getting prepared to set cour campsite and rest well to carry on our trek of next morning.

    DAY 2 : Tinki - Pacchanta – Qomerqocha lagoon

    Our delightful cook will take care about us during the morning and prepare a succulent breakfast to carry on our Ausangate Trek .
    As a part of our gratitude to Tinki village for allowing us to be in their grounds, we will be visiting the local children school and give them some school supplies. Afterwards, we will leave Tinki village and start our trek towards another community called Pacchanta (4100m/13451ft). At Pacchanta, we will have our lunch and made use of hot springs that are dated from Inca times and enjoy breathtaking views of Ausangate Mountain. Village of Cattca, Tinki village,

    Later on, we'll carry on our Ausangate Trek and climb up Pacchanta valley, spotting llamas and alpacas, until we reach the beautiful Qomercocha lagoon, where we will camp and have dinner.
    This is a spectacular spot with amazing panoramic views of the Ausangate, Santa Catalina, Maria Huamantiqlla, Pucapunta and Colquecruz snow-capped mountains which beauty it will take your breath away.

    DAY 3 : Qomerqocha lagoon – Yanamayo

    Finished our early breakfast we will leave the campsite at 07:00 am and head to pass the first mountain the Abra de Q´ampa (5000m/16404 ft).
    It will take us about 4 hours to get to their point in which we after descent towards the Ticllaqocha Lagoons, a beautiful group of little turquoise lagoons. We will have a break after all our effort in getting here and also have some lunch to get more energy.
    After we finished our lunch we will get ready and hike around 3 hours until we reach Yanamayo. At Yanamayo, we will set our camp in an impressive valley overlooking the grand Tres Picos, Colquecruz and Pucapunta peaks.

    DAY 4 : Yanamayo – Condorpaso

    This is another day on Ausangate Trek in which you will climb to Yanacocha or 'Black Lagoon' as the name speak for itself the water color of this lagoon is very dark due its volcanic soil. In fact there will places in which their surfaces are volcanic with a color from dark red to black. We will notice also moraines as a proof of existent glaciers in this region.

    Once we get to the top of Yanaqocha mountain and pass it's high peak (5, 050m/16, 568 ft) will be amazed by a extended valley of an spectacular mountain colours together with three spectacular lagoons and the presence of llamas and alpacas. We will have some time to admire all this natural gift for our eyes.

    Afterwards, We will continue our trail towards our next mountain pass at 5, 100m/16, 732 ft we getting to Condorpaso. At this location, we will be setting up our next campsite and very close to the mountain pass of the same name that will be the challenge for the next day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included.

    DAY 5 : Condorpaso - source of Sibinacocha lake

    Today we will climb for around 2 hours and pass the mountain Abra del Condor. Thus, you will have to have a good energy level and taking your daily early breakfast will help you in that matter.

    As we are passing the valley this in our way up and get to the Abra del Condor at 5,200m/17,060 ft, to our enjoyment of seeing a spectacular views of the Vilcanota mountain range and the Sibinacocha Lagoon will be amazing.

    Today we will climb for around 2 hours and pass the mountain Abra del Condor. Thus, you will have to have a good energy level and taking your daily early breakfast will help you in that matter.

    As we are passing the valley this in our way up and get to the Abra del Condor at 5,200m/17,060 ft, to our enjoyment of seeing a spectacular views of the Vilcanota mountain range and the Sibinacocha Lagoon with some vicuñas will be amazing.

    We will have some time in admiring the natural surroundings of the valley and continuing our hiking for another 3 hours. During our Ausangate Trek we will be crossing another mountain pass and then descending into the valley of the Lake Sibinacocha’s source. At this location we will set up our campsite with impressive views of a glacier stands nourishing the lake with its turquoise waters that contrast with the pure dark blue color of the lagoon.

    This lagoon boasts with a wide bio-diversity and host Andean Geese, as well as Andean Ducks.

    Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included.


    DAY 6 : Source of Sibinacocha lagoon – Ccascara

    On this day 6, we will walk along the shores of the Sibinacocha lagoon for three hours until we reach the community of Yayamari. The community of Yayamari sets alongside the mountain of the same name. It is an impressive rocky peak overlooking the lagoon at an impressive 5, 500m/18, 044 ft above sea level.

    As we entering in diverse valleys, we will cross a pampa too, and see hundreds of llamas, alpacas and vicuñas. Passing the pampa, we will head towards the Abra Ccascana at 5,000m/ 16, 404 ft, which will lead us to the lagoon of the same name.

    At Abra Ccascaram, we set up our last camp, where once again we feel immerse in full Andean nature with impressive snow-capped peaks of Montura and Chumpi inhabited by small rural communities.

    Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included.

    DAY 7 : Ccascara – Phinaya - Cusco

    Our cook will take care about our daily early breakfast and when you finished, then we will be prepared to leave Ccascara village. We will walk for three and a half hours towards Phinaya, where we will have a lunch.

    The Andean community of Phinaya is small and has a beautiful cosy church, no presence of vehicles in the village except for bikes and horses. In the afternoon, we drive back to Cusco, arriving after nightfall.

    Breakfast and lunch are included.
