A small and narrow corridor between rock walls, Inca remains and a sets of stairs made by them.   This canyon is absolutely magical and boasts geological formations surrounded by majestic rocks and boulders that direct the river to Huchuy Qosqo at 3,600m, where we will be arriving.   We will explore the ruins and admire its formation on the mountains but first we will settle no far from this archeological site to pass the night.

The train ride to Ollantaytambo is a beautiful journey, the whole settings seems to be extracted from an early 19th century film. The train, the whole station, wagons, decor are playing your mind and transporting you to the past.  The train route to Aguas Calientes is a magnificent and gorgeous route, and it is world-renowned for its beauty. The royal residence of the Inca and last bastion before the spaniards took the whole Empire.  In time, this ancient city will be abandoned and get lost in an eternal dream, the same for the Empire and their Incas.

Our guide will give us a tour, and show us the most significative locations within the construction. You'll learn about the Incas ways of living and after, have time to explore Machu Picchu by your own.  Also have to be aware that in order to climb Huayna Picchu which is the mountain facing the ancient city, you will need a permit to get access to it.
