Los Baños del Inca Tour

Have you ever wanted to take a steaming bath in a thermal pool once used by an Inca king? Well, now’s your chance! Los Baños del Inca (Baths of the Inca) is a series of thermal baths that have been in use for hundreds of years. Most famously, they were used by Inca emperors, including the Inca Atahualpa, who spent time bathing here while Francisco Pizarro engaged in the conquest of the Inca Empire.
Today, these Inca baths in Cajamarca, which are surrounded by well-kept gardens, are used by locals and tourists alike for relaxation and for their supposed healing properties. A soak in the sulfuric waters is said to help with a number of different ailments, including nerve disorders, aching bones, skin problems, and gastritis.
The Baños del Inca is located at Balneario de Pultumarca, about 6 km outside the city of Cajamarca. We’ll take you there, where you can enjoy plenty of time to relax in the hot springs. There are four different sections in total: the showers, the public baths, the private baths, and the Imperial baths. The outdoor pools are open to everyone, while the indoor pools are for private use. There is a sauna, and hydro-massage therapy is available on request.
Immerse yourself in the tranquil waters, letting the healing properties of the mineral-rich springs rejuvenate your body and mind. The natural heat of the springs, which can reach temperatures high enough to boil an egg in certain areas, creates a serene environment ideal for relaxation and contemplation during your Peru vacation package.
While you unwind in the pools, take a moment to reflect on the history and significance of Baños del Inca. Once a sacred site for the Inca elite, this place now serves as a sanctuary for travelers seeking solace and rejuvenation amidst Peru's rich cultural tapestry on their Peru vacation packages.
Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or a deeper connection to Peru's ancient heritage, on your vacations in South America, a visit to Baños del Inca promises an unforgettable experience that will leave you feeling refreshed, revitalized, and inspired.
